This Week’s Featured Pet – Goldie

Look at that pretty face! Goldie is a sweet, two-year-old calico who wants to get on with the rest of her life, be adopted into a loving forever home. But first she needs to have her right rear leg amputated.

We found Goldie in a box…very pregnant…outside the back door of our adoption center. Not only was she pregnant, but the poor girl’s leg was severely broken, possibly from being hit by a vehicle, and not able to be saved. In her time of great need, Goldie found herself homeless and unwanted. Thankfully, we were here for her.

Shortly after arriving at ARE Animal Rescue, she gave birth to six beautiful kittens. She was the best mom, taking wonderful care of her babies while in the home of one of our foster volunteers. Fast forward a few months, her kids have grown and been adopted. Now it’s Goldie’s turn…as soon as her leg can be amputated.

Please help us help Goldie have the amputation she needs by donating to our Angels Healing Angels Special Medical Fund. Any amount is greatly appreciated. We use all donations to the fund exclusively for special medical cases. You may donate online at arerescue.org. For more information, contact us at (951) 708-1280 or info@arerescue.org.
