ARE Animal Rescue operates one primary location and several catteries inside of PetSmart stores.

The Hemet location is the primary HQ.
Hours: 10am-5pm, closed on Tuesday. Adoptions by appointment only. Fill out questionnaire and make an appointment in advance of your visit.

The cattery locations help support cat adoptions, and occasionally these PetSmart and Petco locations are used for weekend dog adoption events.

At catteries, volunteers are available to help answer questions, allow meet and greets, and perform adoptions at specific times:
PetSmart Cattery Volunteer Hours: Evenings, 6-8pm. Saturdays, 9-11am and 6-8pm. Sundays, 10am-12am and 4pm-6pm.

Oceanside PetSmart Dog adoption events: Saturdays 11am-4pm
